About Wyoming Early Learning Centre

Learn & Laugh at Wyoming is conveniently located on Henry Parry Drive, across the road from the the local Catholic School. Wyoming has been a family run centre for many years, with some team members having their adult children attend many years ago. Becoming Learn & Laugh 5 years ago we were excited to keep it as such, a “Family owned Centre”. The numerous additions and renovations have provided the 3 room centre centre with a combination of brand new facilities with the charm of a ‘family’ type centre.

We acknowledge the Darkinjung people who are the traditional custodians of this land and pay respect to their elders past, present and future, for they hold the Indigenous memories of culture and country for all Australian people.

Words from our lovely families

Stacey Potts

Both my children have attended/still attend the centre. I drive 20 minutes and pass 12 other centres to get here, because I like the philosophy of the centre, the educators and everything the centre provides my children. Every day my boy is welcomed by everyone, and the feedback via the KindyHub program is a great way for me to know what he has been doing and learning. As a working parent I feel secure knowing my boy is well cared for, and learning some fundamental skills for his future. Thank you!

My son has been going here for I year after we moved up to Wyoming from Sydney. The transition was made easy because of caring and supportive staff. Everyday my son comes home happy which shows how much fun he has at the center. I will get updates through kindyhub app with photos which shows all the exciting activities they do. I will definitely recommend learn and laugh wyoming to anyone considering sending kids to daycare

My daughter has been going here for 1 year and the educators are extremely welcoming and friendly. Every single day my daughter comes home happy and excited telling me everything they did and how much fun she has. That night we get an email explaining everything they've done what they're learning with heaps of photos from the day. I definitely reccomend Learn and Laugh Wyoming to anyone.

My daughter has attended this centre for the last 2 years. I visited several centres before enrolling her here, and have no regrets with that decision. This is the only centre she has ever attended and we plan to send our son here in the future. Our daughter has learned so much already. There is a great mixture of structured learning as well as creative experiences offered at the centre. Her social skills have blossomed and she is getting the best preparation for primary school. We love all the educators at the centre and are so grateful for the love and attention they continually provide.

My children have been at this service almost since birth. The educators are all amazing and I could not ask for a more caring environment for my children to attend whilst I have to work. My children come home bursting to tell me about the wonderful activities that they got up to throughout the day and at the end of each day I get sent a daily reflection, complete with photos straight to my phone. This service is highly recommended, I wouldn't take my children anywhere else.

Rachael Davies - Wyoming's Director

I graduated from Macquarie University, Sydney in 2008 completing a Bachelor of education (early

childhood education). I have many years of experience working as an Early childhood teacher and also in various management roles supporting educators to achieve quality outcomes for the children in their care.

Being a mother of 3 boys, I am keenly aware of how fast paced life can be for children growing up in this generation. I am passionate about early childhood education offering an opportunity for children to connect with experiences that develop a sense of wonder in the world around them and embed a love of investigating and knowledge seeking that will last a lifetime. I firmly believe that the learning environment is a key tool which educators can use to encourage children to independently explore new concepts, making sense of their world and developing a feeling of safety and security to keep seeking further.

In my role as Director of Learn and Laugh Wyoming I aim to work in partnership with the families who attend this service each day and support the individual needs of each child to the best of my ability. I hope to facilitate a warm and welcoming environment where achieving quality outcomes for the children are at the core of all that we do.
