About Learn & Laugh Epping – More than Childcare

Learn & Laugh Epping is a trusted early learning centre located on Ray Road. Located in Sydney’s Northwest, our centre is ideally positioned for families commuting through the area or living in the nearby residential pockets of Eastwood, Carlingford and Marsfield.

Nestled on a quiet leafy road, our centre provides a calm and secure setting where children can learn and play away from the hustle and bustle. Despite its peaceful location, we are just moments from the Epping Train station and the M2, making daily drop-offs and pick-ups simple and convenient for families commuting to and from work

Opened in March 2025, our boutique centre caters for just 50 children each day, allowing us to build genuine relationships with every child and family. Originally a beautiful family home, the building has been thoughtfully transformed into a modern early learning centre while retaining its warm, welcoming character. High ceilings, spacious light-filled rooms, and tranquil green surrounds create a home-like environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and ready to explore.

Our centre features three thoughtfully designed learning environments:

  • Nursery
  • Junior room
  • Senior Preschool

Each room offers a carefully designed program that supports children’s individual development through play-based learning. Our educational programs encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning while helping children develop the skills they need to thrive.

Our dedicated team of warm and nurturing educators are passionate about building strong relationships with every child, ensuring they feel supported, encouraged, and celebrated throughout their learning journey.

We are committed to creating a welcoming community where children flourish, families feel connected, and every child is given the best possible start to their learning journey.

Words from our lovely families

Stephen Wong

My son has been attending 3 days a week for almost a year and we are extremely happy with the care he receives. He has developed a great relationship with all of the educators. You can that the educators genuinely care about him and the other kids at the centre and they have even been bonding with our baby girl during pickup for the past few months which has made us feel really good about her transition when she starts at the centre next month

My daughter was around one when she started here and naps mostly on feeding. So her naps and eating were my main concerns. It was a surprise to know that teachers were able to make her sleep while patting:) Eating wise baby has picked up slowly and is doing good now. Overall we would recommend this daycare to everyone especially people whose babies need support while sleeping.

The Centre Director - Ashlee Chang

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care and am thrilled to join the Epping Learn and Laugh team. Since beginning my career in 2010, I have had the privilege of growing and contributing in various roles, including educator, room leader, and educational leader. These experiences have deepened my dedication to fostering children’s development and enhancing their learning environments.

My passion lies in creating rich, hands-on learning experiences that ignite curiosity and a lifelong love of learning in every child. My personal philosophy aligns closely with the values of Learn and Laugh: to provide a nurturing environment where children, families, and educators collaborate and thrive together. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, I strive to ensure that children are at the heart of everything we do.

I firmly believe in the power of connections—with families, educators, and the broader community—to give every child the best possible start in their educational journey. I am committed to working closely with you to ensure every child’s voice is heard and every contribution is valued. I look forward to collaborating with families to support children’s development in a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
As the director, I am excited to meet each child and family and to provide an early learning journey where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and connected.
